David is a graduate of both Albion College and Brooklyn College. He also attended the Atelier Léo Marchutz in Aix-en-Provence, France. In his free time, David has developed a deep understanding of wine and art. He’s also our resident pop culture expert.
William Cotcher
Floral and Display Director
William joined Planterra in 2005, bringing along more than two decades of floral and horticultural experience. He leads a team of professionals as our floral and display director. William manages the creation of all floral and décor displays for events. You’ll find him working on everything from crafting stunning bouquets or boutonnieres to one-of-a-kind centerpieces or garlands and unforgettable entry displays. If a bride can imagine it, William can bring it to life with flowers.
He is a graduate of Michigan State University. Before joining the Planterra team, William worked at Boston’s Baugh Haus Collaborative and Harding Botanicals. When he’s not creating memorable displays, he can likely be found in the garden or renovating his Auburn Hills home. William also spends plenty of his free time cooking or spoiling his nieces and nephews.
