Trees over 12 feet tall require 8 to 11 months of shade acclimation before installation. A deposit is required at the time of procurement.

Large-scale artificial installations typically take 4–8 months, depending on customization and quantity. If the project requires custom designs or dye-lot approvals, plan for 10–12 months. Alternatively, small projects can be usually executed with inventory available in domestic warehouses which can be procured within 2 weeks.

  • Standard fiberglass/ceramic planters: ~30 days.
  • Custom sizes or colors: 2–3 months.
  • Specialized imported planters: Up to 5–6 months.

Planterra is not an architectural design firm, so we do not charge a design fee. However, for large-scale design-build projects, we charge a consulting fee plus expenses.

Yes! Hybrid installations can be an effective strategy, especially in areas where access is limited or temperature conditions are unsuitable for live plants. For example, artificial plants may be better suited for high, hard-to-reach planters.
