- Waxy, solid plum-colored foliage can add contrast to green foliage in groupings or in living walls.
- The variegated hybrids feature red and pink marbling with creamy yellow or pink at the edges of each leaf.
The Ficus Burgundy is most commonly available in small and medium sizes. Large specimens feature woody trunks and sculptural characteristics and will likely need to be scouted. The sap from this tree is white latex, which was used to make rubber prior to the invention of modern synthetic rubber.
