Designer Notes
- Pink blooms can last 2 to 3 months in moderate light.
- Provides attractive foliage, even without the bloom.

A distinctive urn shaped rosette of dusty green foliage, the bloom most commonly comes in pink. A less common white cultivar is also grown but the blooms tend to be smaller than the pink. Blooms expire faster in direct sun. Its genus, Aechema, comes from the Greek word aichme, which means spear.
