Planterra Wins 2008 Interiorscape Best Project Award


West Bloomfield, Mich. --- Planterra Corp has won the 2008 Interiorscape Best Project Award for the newly renovated atrium at the Southfield Town Center, in Southfield, Michigan. The award, one of 25 in the nation, commends excellence in the highly specialized niche of interior landscaping. Planterra has received Interiorscape Best Project Awards for the past three consecutive years.

“The fantastic sprawling Garden Atrium is the centerpiece of the Town Center” says Rick Golding, Property Manager of the Southfield Town Center. Located in the central 2000 Tower, the atrium boosts 20-foot olive trees, lush foliage, and a waterfall feature. The environment offers a serene, multi-level space ideal for wedding ceremonies, receptions, strolling functions and other festivities. Planterra, the interior landscape consultant and contractor followed an ambitious design by Landscape Architect, Sean Sanger of Copley Wolff Associates in Boston. “It was a privilege to implement to his living vision,” says Julie Schaefer, a senior design consultant at Planterra, who coordinated the landscape.
